Meibomian Gland Dysfunction: A Key Component to Ocular Surface Management | COPE: 62960-AS, 1 CE credit
Course Description
This course will discuss the known types of Dry Eye with special emphasis on Meibomian Gland Dysfunction, MGD. The prevalence of MGD and key patients (including contact lens wearers, cataract and glaucoma) will be discussed, along with the importance of identifying MGD early by evaluating the structure and function of the meibomian glands. Further discussion on the contemporary approach vs treating MGD proactively. Dr. Liu will review the supporting evidence for best practices to manage MGD and how you can successfully educate your staff and patients.
