The Superpower Of Sight Exhibition
Vancouver, December 7, 2023 – And that’s a wrap for our Science World exhibition – The Superpower of Sight. We had a blast throughout October raising awareness about eye health in alignment with Children’s Vision Month. From conversations on the benefits of eye exams, to participation in our interactive activities, to our groundbreaking display of a 7-foot-tall eyeball, this past month has been nothing short of great learning.
The exhibition took the social stage by storm. Local broadcasting stations including CBC Vancouver, CTV News Vancouver, and Fairchild TV, captured the event live on television at the beginning of the month. We also received overwhelming enthusiasm on our digital media campaigns, with over 2 million people reached through our promotional channels, including Instagram, Facebook, and our newsletter. Thank you to all our volunteers who helped make this event a great success, and a big congratulations to our BCDO team!
